Also hauled in a pair of receptions out of the backfield that went for nine total yards. Prior to the Stallions After stints with the Los Angeles Chargers and the Houston Texans, Rountree joined the Birmingham Stallions of the United Football League (UFL) in 2024. Made his mark in the NFL by scoring his first career touchdown with the Chargers during the 2021 season. Selected by the Los Angeles Chargers in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. During his tenure at the University of Missouri, Rountree made significant contributions to the team, setting the school record for career rushing yards (3,720) by a running back. He finished his collegiate career with 3,720 rushing yards, on 746 carries and 40 touchdowns. Also was a threat as a receiver while at Mizzou, hauling in 47 receptions for 289 yards for his collegiate career. An exceptional running back from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, running for 1,147 yards on 201 carries with 21 touchdowns his senior season before committing to Missouri for his college football career.
